Sew Spoiled Wallet

Wallet front
Originally uploaded by Sew Spoiled

Not everything I sew is perfect. I completed this while my youngest was sleeping. So I felt rushed because I wanted to finish before my curious 18 month woke up!! Everything was going fine, until I hit the topstitching at the end. Anyway, I love these new prints from Park Slope by Erin McMorris.

  1. PS…I just ordered your versatile bag pattern. The bag with the red ‘chrysanthemum’ print hooked me!

  2. Yeah I hope you like it!!! They are so much fun to make. If you want to make it a little strudier at the end of the pattern, after the topstitching but before sewing up the lining, cut a few pieces of plastic canvas out for the sides and the bottom of the bag. It will hold the shape even better and last longer in the end. đŸ™‚

  3. Wow! I love your site! I’m just a beginner though…hopefully someday I can make this cute wallet!

  4. Thank you!! I love hearing from my readers so thank you for writing a post!!

  5. What pattern do you use for this ever-so-cute wallet?
    Great job!

  6. It is my own:) I am in the process of making it an easier and better pattern to share with others:) This will be the next pattern for Sew Spoiled!
